Wolf Watches begin at 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Registration begins 1/2 hour before tour start times. Each Wolf Watch tour is 60-75 -minutes long. Tours cost $15 for adults and $7 for kids up to 11 years. Please know in the state of New Jersey it is against the law for the public to have contact with a pure breed wolf. Wolf Watch tours are led by owner Jim Stein and Becky Mace, who have raised and care for all the animals at the preserve. During their presentations you will learn about the social structure of wolf packs, their eating habits, their interaction with man, and many other interesting facts. Pet Adoption Fees Waived For All County Veterans & Seniors! Military men and women in Burlington County now have another “friend” waiting for them at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.
**Freeholder Mary Ann O’Brien unveiled the shelter’s “Free Pets for Vets” program, through which all county veterans may adopt a dog or cat free of charge. “It is well known that companion animals can help to reduce stress, depression and anxiety,” said O’Brien. “What we’re doing is reducing the barriers for adopting animals for those who, we believe, will truly appreciate the companionship.”
