We understand that a rescue is not complete until an animal is placed into a permanent home. During the past decade, we have rescued, rehabilitated and adopted an average of 20,000 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens each year. To date, we have saved over 1,000,000 lives, and our advocacy and partnerships have helped to save even more lives.

The Animal League is a strong, national advocate for pet adoption. Through our hands-on work with the animals, our cooperative approach with shelter and rescue partners across the country, innovation education, and strategic media relationships, we focus national attention on the plight of shelter animals to increase adoptions nationwide.

Montclair Vegans Potluck Picnic in the Park
Let's have a picnic at Eagle Rock Reservation!

This location is shown only to members.
Please bring a vegan picnic-type dish to share (no meat, milk, cheese, eggs or honey). It will also be helpful if you bring a serving utensil for your dish, too. Since we'll be in a park, please bring your own plate, utensils, and water. You might want to bring blankets and/or chairs to sit on, too.

We'll be meeting in the High Lawn area, on the Mountain Avenue side of the park. This is the area that overlooks the NYC skyline. See the red "x" on the map on site. I'll try to grab the gazebo area, but if it's occupied, we'll set up in a shady area on the lawn close by, so you might want to bring a lawn chair or blanket, just in case. (Note that we will not be gathering in the picnic area.) Montclair Vegans is a group for vegans to come together and enjoy each other's company.
